Our School Day
School starts at 8.55am and all children need to be lined up for the bell at 8.55am.
Morning session only : 9am-12noon
Reception and Key Stage 1
Morning session : 8.55am-12noon
Morning Break : 10.20am-10.35am*
Lunch break :12pm - 1pm
Afternoon session : 1pm- 3.30pm
Afternoon break : 2.15pm-2.30pm
* Reception class have continous provision , without a set break time
Key Stage 2
Morning session : 8.55am-12.15pm
Morning Break : 10.35am-10.50am
Lunch break :12.15pm - 1.15pm
Afternoon session : 1.15pm-3.30pm
Afternoon break : As required
The registration bell is 8.50am. At this time, children line up on the yard - Children go into school at 8.55am
A late bell is rung at 9.05am to mark the end of the registration period.
The end of day bell is rung at 3.30pm. This signals the end of the teaching day. Children will not be dismissed from school until after the bell has rung.

Monday 9.10am-9.30am : Whole school assembly led by Headteacher around our Huncoat Value of the 1/2 term and the British Values
Tuesday 9.10am-9.30am : Whole School Hymn Practice
Wednesday 9.10am-9.30am : Classroom based Assembly - PSHE / British values Theme
Thursday 9.10am-9.30am : Staff Lead assembly on Growth Mindset/ Current Themes/ Religious Festivals/ Seasonal Dates / Current Issues inc Picture News
Friday 9.10am-9.30am : Whole school celebration assembly : led by Deputy Headteacher
Each half term a class will have their own assembly based around our Value of the 1/2 term
