Covid Catch Up

In 2020 the government announced £1 billion of funding to help 'catch up' targeted children who lost learning the most due to the Coranavirus School Closure. The impact of a National Lockdown has affected our children, academically, socially and emotionally. We are using the catch up funding with specific intervention tailored at the gaps missing following baseline assessments. All impact of the interventions is measured and shared with staff and governors.

We are closing the gaps in learning by using the catch up funding for:

Specific arithmetic intervention tutoring
Speech and Language 'extra' funding on top of the usual funding
Specific Phonics catch up tutoring
Specific Reading intervention tutoring
Mental Health & Wellbeing intervention for the children
Resilience and Behaviour training
